Collected It Tolls for Thee w/s. Read Chapter 5: Longstreet and to page 139 of Chapter 6: Lee of The Killer Angels. Worked on questions for Ch. 5.
Homework: Finish Chapter 6 and read the short Chapter 7 (Buford) and answer the questions. Be prepared for a reading quiz! Commanders Quiz next week!




Thursday
Verbs w/s 17 & 12 (It Tolls for Thee)
Graded Vocab Quiz grad, gress. Took Vocab Quiz mob, gress and Reading Quiz on Chapter 4 - Chamberlain - of The Killer Angels. Finished AIMS Writing Simulation if necessary; time for silent reading and AR quiz-taking.
Homework: Finish and anything that needs finishing or reviewing (KA questions up to and including Ch. 4, parts of speech, vocab, literary terms, etc.)




Wednesday
No class - half-day schedule.




Tuesday
Verbs w/s 11 & 12 (What Are Verbs? & Five Hundred Horsepower Verbs)
Read p. 86 to top of p. 102 ("...They really put up a scrap.")
Homework: Finish Chapter 3 Lee and read Chapter 4 Chamberlain by Thursday. Be ready for a reading quiz on Ch. 4. Answer questions on study guide and note vocab as you go.
