Homework: Work on KA project, which is due Monday. KA paperwork will be collected Monday (should have been completed long ago!!). There will be a review quiz on the pos and sed, sid root words after Thanksgiving (material from the last two Roots quizzes).



Thursday
Students took the DVQRA reading assessment in the computer lab.
Homework: Work on KA project. Study for tomorrow's quiz. Remember that you will be reading and taking an AR test on at least one non-fiction book this quarter.

Reviewed Paragraph Review w/s 4. Completed w/s on Persuasive Techniques in Advertising. Read "A Surprise for Cole," wrote a paragraph describing what the farmhouse would look like when Cole and his dad finish fixing it up, and began working on comprehension questions on the story.
Homework: Work on KA project - we will finish the comprehension packet before and after the DVQRA on Thursday.

Handed out and discussed The Killer Angels Assignment (including rubric). Due 11/23 (next Monday).

Finish Paragraph Review w/s 4; study root words, parts of speech, vocab, etc.
