I collected the yellow Killer Angels questions for Chapters 3 and 4 (from yesterday's reading in class).
Today was our writing day. We did some more work on ways to elaborate. Students used adjectives to describe a picture, then read an article on the person in the picture. Based on the reading, they had to decide which adjectives to keep (with justification) and which adjectives to add (with justifications).
They then, individually, had to write a paragraph using the Ways to Elaborate we have been working on (today we added Cause and Effect & Compare/Contrast).
Homework:
Finish the paragraph. The paragraph and one picture per group (remember to add members' names) with adjectives added and justified due Monday.
No class tomorrow - special schedule.
