Students read "When the Earth Shakes" on p. 435 in the literature textbook.
They created a flow map to show the organizational structure of the article.
On the back of the flow map, they were to develop a thesis statement for the article, and under that, comment on whether or not the author provided an effective introduction and conclusion. All answers must give evidence from the text for their argument.

You will need to memorize the terms and definitions and be able to recognize and give examples of them. Due (completed and memorized) Dec. 3.
