We began the Cereal Box Project presentations.

Thursday
Cereal Box Projects were due for extra points.
Students took the Week 2 Vocab Quiz.

Wednesday
We continued reading and discussing "Flowers for Algernon" as far as the end of part 1.
Homework
Book report project due tomorrow. Test on Week 2 Vocab tomorrow.


Tuesday
Collected FB assignment. Reviewed types of characterization (round, flat, direct, indirect). Students took notes. Writing assingment as introduction to "Flowers for Algernon." Began reading and discussing FfA.
Homework
Book report project due Thursday. Test on Week 2 Vocab on Thursday (review Week 1 vocab as well as stems).

Monday
Collected remaining "Raymond's Run" questions on Five Methods of Characterization.
Analyzed "Raymond's Run" with regard to character and motivation. Students took notes and made connections to the text with the song "Someone to Lean On." (This was collected.)
