We took the Roots (fer) Quiz and Vocab Quiz.
Students finalized their projects.
Presentations will be on Monday.

Students continued with their project. We will have time in class to finalize it tomorrow, and presentations will be on Monday.

Wednesday
Students were placed in groups of about four, based on their ad's technique(s).

Students picked one favorite ad along with its analysis and set it aside.
They turned in the other two analysis sheets, accompanied by the advertisements.
Students then identified the strongest or most obvious advertising techniques used in their favorite ad. We will continue with the activity tomorrow.

Monday
Handout: Persuasive Techniques - definitions and examples.
Students continued with the Advertisement Analysis w/s.
Homework:
Advertisement Analysis w/s are due tomorrow. When stapling, put the actual ad on top, and the answers on the bottom.
Create a visual representation for each of the Persuasive Techniques in the box provided. The visuals are due Monday.
Note: Any remaining pen pal letters NEED to be emailed to me asap.
