Week of May 9

Tuesday - Friday
Blogger has been Read-Only all week due to technical issues, so I have not been able to update.
Tuesday and Wednesday students worked on research for their Mythological Barbie project.
Wed. - I collected the Cartoons and students took the Week 4 and 5 "Reggie" style quiz.
Thurs. - Students presented and I collected the Mythological Barbie projects. We then graded quizzes we had taken recently.
Fri. - Intro to Cinder Tales project. In pairs, students read and took notes on two Cinderella stories. They then created a double-bubble thinking map on what they had read.

Homework:
Review Week 1 and 4 words and meanings.
We will continue reading the tales on Monday. Tuesday we will type up the summaries and begin the Original Cinder Tale (due Friday - we will share).
Wednesday we take the Week 1 and 4 sentence quiz.
Thursday / Friday: Advanced Lang. Arts Online Assessment, STAR, share Tales.

Monday
I collected the Bad Hair Day Assignment; some students shared.
Students then worked on research for the Barbie assignment.
