We did some more work on the different ways to elaborate, getting down to "the beggar's hand." Students responded to the prompt: Arizona is an ideal place to live. They then worked in groups to improve upon their individual responses. Most groups presented - the remainder will present tomorrow.

We began reading The Killer Angels, starting with Mon., June 29, 1863 - Chapter 1: The Spy, and finished the chapter. Remember to note page numbers of the vocabulary words (on the back page of the study guide) as we go.

Finish questions related to Chapter 1 by tomorrow.
Finish the To the Reader and Foreword sections by Wednesday.
