Friday
Early Release - Special Schedule; No Class


Thursday
We took the Week 2 vocab quiz and then reviewed an AIMS writing sample according to the new holistic rubric that will be implemented this year.
We also did some test practice questions and discussed the answers and test-taking skills.
Homework:
Idiom w/s - due Monday.



Wednesday
We reviewed Week 2 Day 3 and 4 w/s.
Students finished presenting the Prezis.
Homework:
Quiz on Week 2 words and idioms tomorrow



Tuesday
We took and graded Reggie the Con Man Quiz (Week 1 words in context).
Reviewed Week 2 Day 1 and 2 w/s.
Students graded a 7th grade writing sample according to the new holistic rubric that will be used this year by the State when grading the AIMS writing. We discussed the findings and what to watch out for in their own writing.

Week 2 Day 3 & 4 w/s
Test on words/idioms from all four days on Thursday



Monday
Students began presenting their Literary Elements Prezis.
