Friday
Final day in the lab working on our Prezis.
I collected the reading logs from 3rd quarter.
Homework:
Finish the Prezi - link of your finished work needs to be emailed to me before Monday morning (March 21).
Be ready to present the day we come back.
Also, be ready for the Week 1 quiz (Reggie the Con Man) when we return


Thursday
We spent time in the lab working on our Prezis.

Wednesday
Handout: Directions and guidelines for the Poetry in Music assignment
Students created a Prezi for their Poetry in Music assignment.
We will have class time for it Thursday and Friday - it's due in time for the first class after Spring Break.

Tuesday
We graded two Roots Quizzes (cogni, sci/tain, ten) and the Week 1 Review.
Students then completed Sensible Sentences? w/s using words from Week 1 and an AIMS writing sample test packet with thought-outs and hints for test taking.
They then wrote a reflection paragraph about the sample test. If it wasn't turned in, it is due tomorrow.
Homework:
Be familiar with Prezi.com by tomorrow.
Week 1 vocab quiz on Thursday.



Monday
In the lab, students worked on finding the main idea in passages and then progressed to finding how paragraphs were organized.
Homework:
Review Week 1 w/s.
We will grade the quizzes tomorrow.
